Caroline organised the Chevin Road clean up. A small group attended and in a morning they managed to clean the verge-side from the Canning Mills end of Chevin Road to Peet Road. It was interesting to note what rubbish was present. Mostly liquor and drink containers. Not so many plastic bags this time. This could be because so many of us are using alternative bags. Many cigarette butts were found which was quite worrying because of the fire hazard in our area. Thank you Caroline. |
